solution to provide a rich feature set to meet the needs of a wide range of
customers.
eMAM is a complete media asset management system with
web-based proxy search, preview, and collaboration tools linked with the
ability to move and manage digital files. Now eMAM offers an integration with
P5 Archive included as part of its standard archive module. P5 is a
full-featured storage and archive management system that manages the movement
of digital files between storage systems and the archive, directly managing the
LTO drives and robotic archive systems. LTO has become the universal standard
for archive, with great security, long term reliability, and huge scalability
at very affordable price points. The support of the LTFS (linear tape file
system) specification makes LTO tapes self-describing and usable on any other
LTFS system.
Customers can easily manage content in any storage system or
location directly from the intuitive eMAM interface, allowing organizations to
save money over expensive near line storage, while having better security and transparency
of use. Both systems can provide a number of cloud storage options, giving
customers even greater flexibility for storage and processing.
